2→ ‘Intimacy’ + Makiko Ryujin 2024
You could see these objects as: ‘Gadgets for a creature learning to experience intimacy’.
Maker Makiko Ryujin & I had weekly meets in her studio, playing around with found materials,
using dead cable wires and industrial waste from the warehouse.
The key themes of this collection are: creating with found materials, masks, wearables, and the concept of intimacy.
Makiko has a background in sculpture, while mine is small objects and jewelry.
Our collection of adhoc works were exhibited at a small makers market in coburg on
May, 23rd, 2024.
